In the second quarter of 2023, the top 5 personalization apps in Brazil showcased varying trends in downloads, revenue, and active users. Here’s a detailed look at their performance.

Girly Wallpapers from Wallpaper World Designs saw a fluctuating pattern in weekly downloads. Beginning with 81.5K downloads in late March, the app peaked at 98.1K in mid-June before settling at 76K by the end of the quarter. Active users mirrored this trend, starting at 251K, dipping to 174K in late April, and rising again to 210K by the end of June. The app generated $19 in revenue at the start of the quarter but saw no further revenue throughout the period.

Wallpaper Center - Live, 4K HD by Daniel.yan, launched in late May, experienced rapid growth in weekly downloads. Starting with 29.4K downloads, it surged to 412.8K by the end of June. Active users exhibited similar growth, increasing from 10.7K in late May to 545.6K by the end of June.

ThemeKit - Themes & Widgets, published by ThemeKit, maintained a consistent growth trajectory. Weekly downloads started at 46.4K in late March and rose to 91.8K by mid-June, later stabilizing at 79.5K. Active users followed suit, increasing from 90.7K in late March to 193.6K by the end of June. Revenue also saw a steady increase, peaking at $46 in mid-June.

Launcher OS by Apps Genz showed a modest yet consistent performance. Weekly downloads began at 72.7K, peaking at 83.9K in early April, and ended the quarter at 64K. Active users saw a steady rise from 195.2K to 261.4K over the quarter, although the app did not generate any revenue during this period.

JoyHome by SpringMon Mobile, launched in mid-March, experienced a significant increase in both downloads and active users. Weekly downloads started at 21.9K in mid-April and skyrocketed to 146.9K by mid-June, before slightly decreasing to 126.9K at the end of the quarter. Active users grew from 10.1K in mid-April to 168.7K by mid-June, slightly dropping to 123.5K by the end of June.
